I am in beijing. Still in beijing. i tried to get a flight out for the end of april, but everything was booked.
I'll be back in Canada mid may. Anyone want to come to mckibs 630pm may 17th?
I have been volunteering in Jess' kindergarten class a couple of days a week. Last week I actually got to teach! One day i took care of a kindergarten class and another day I did Language Arts half the day and French the other half- for grade 3s. I really liked the gr 3s.
That's it really. Just hanging out in beijing- going to shanghai this weekend.
Then, next stop: vancouver.
sorta. I have an 11hr stopover there before heading on to montreal. do any of you have any suggestions of things to do in vancouver when you have 11 hrs? (realistically- 9)

it's been a while....glad to hear you doing fine.
it's practically summer here, with the exception of a few last chills over the last week or so...
don't know if i could be there when you get back....but i am definitely thinking of you and would like to see you at some point-you gotta see the kids....
suggestions....something relax and easy....if you're up for it-energy wise, rent a bicycle and ride through stanley parc, they have a sort of zoo there too...it's nice and not really exhausting....then go have ice cream or something on davie street....which is like the gay village-steve and i used to live there-
it's nice, there's good burger places and i think we took the shuttle to the airport from a hotel on that street....it's a cool little neighborhood by the bay...
haven't been there recently, though so i take no responsibility if you eat a bad french fry or you get harrassed by a squeegy or something:)
